About the Team
While working fulltime this mother of 2 children obtained her BAAS from Texas State University Summa Cum Laude. Cher has experienced the dramatic growth and dynamic changes in the real estate market firsthand in beautiful San Antonio and the surrounding areas. For the past 30 years San Antonio has been her home. For clients, knowing the past proves invaluable in projecting the future. Cher's professional experience includes new custom homes both as an Operations Manager and site sales counselor, residential real estate as a Broker-Realtor, insurance adjusting as a property and casualty licensed adjuster and home mortgage experience as a loan officer. Cher is a fulltime real estate Broker dba House San Antonio real Estate. Cher has just received appointment for 2010 to serve on the Texas Association of Realtors Political Affairs committee in Austin. She has also been appointed to serve as a committee member with the Realtor Builder Committee, Government Affairs and Trepac. Cher is a Graduate of the Texas Realtor Leadership Program 2008. She is a member and past Ambassador/Captain of the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and Women's Council of Realtors. Other designations include Accredited Buyer Representative and E-PRO and is close to completing her hours toward her CRS designation. She is a member of the Stone Oak Business Association. She attends Community Bible Church serving as an active choir member.

JUST WHO IS WAYNE?
Wayne M. Alvarez began his real estate career 10 years ago as a Realtor in Austin, Texas. With Wayne's Engineering Degree he brings a vast understanding of construction and resale issues. He has worked as a home builder, property manager and has experience and knowledge in foreclosures and short sales. Wayne is also an accomplished musician with his main instrument being the trumpet! He heads a jazz band (of which Cher's husband and son are a part of!!) House San Antonio is thrilled to have Wayne as part of our Team!
JUST WHO IS JOYCE?
Joyce Hitsman is a whiz business woman as well as an outstanding manager. Joyce and Cher have been close friends and business associates since their employment at Datapoint Computer Corporation in 1978. With the birth of her first child, Joyce decided to change positions and become a full time Mom. While raising her two children, Joyce remained very active in many community services, including: volunteer work at elementary schools, assisting teachers in various special projects, served on the PTA, Girl Scout Troop Leader, and taught Sunday school classes. As her children grew, she became part of church activities and since then has become a valuable volunteer. Joyce’s activities in the church include: youth sponsor, Vacation Bible school leader, pumpkin patch organizer, shepherd team member, praise team member, and Rummage sale organizer. The position as Rummage Sale Organizer requires many hours of patient work as the church gathers together to price, sort, and display donations for a giant garage sale. This fundraiser typically nets about $7,000 a year. Joyce is an intelligent, competent business manager and House San Antonio is blessed to have her as a part of our team!
